Iiro Mäkinen - New CEO beginning September 1st 2013

Generation changing at SE Mäkinen

Iiro Mäkinen ( b. 1975 ) has been named new CEO at SE Mäkinen Logistics Oy , Car Transportation SE Mäkinen Oy and Oy Semaster. He started working in his new position on September 1st 2013 .

Iiro Mäkinen, BBA , MSc ( Econ ), has been with the company since 2004 , most recently as the Chief Operating Officer  and member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

Chairman of the Board at SE Mäkinen Logistics Oy, Tapio Mäkinen, tells in his statement, that this change is part of the development strategy. The younger generation is increasing its responsibility for the 60-year-old growing family company.

Timo Siren continues in the management and the board of the company as consultant .

" Timo has strong experience in the management and the dynamics of vehicle logistics. This will help SE Mäkinen to develop further our services in responding to customer needs right now. In addition to our core busines we want to increase flexible information solutions to our customers. This will support them to improve their operational efficiency ," said Aapo Mäkinen, Director of  Sales and Business Development in his statement.
